Airport Badging

Thousands of MSP security badges are issued each year, providing secure access for employees of companies working at the airport. The Badging Office also fingerprints thousands of applicants and submits those prints to the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI). Fingerprint-based criminal history checks are required for employees who work in secured or sterile areas. Results are then checked for disqualifying crimes. Upon notification of clearance, applicants can then report to the Badging Office for issuance of the appropriate security badge.

The Badging Office is now located on Level 5 of the Hub Building, between the Red and Blue parking ramps, two floors above the rental car agencies.
