The airlines provide wheelchairs for use throughout both terminals. Request a wheelchair when you make your flight reservation. Most airlines have information about wheelchair access and other services on their websites or through their reservations systems.
If you are being dropped off at MSP Airport and require wheelchair assistance, please request to be dropped off on the Ticketing Level, Door 5 if you are flying with Delta Air Lines, Door 2 for all other airlines.
If you arrive at the airport without making arrangements for a wheelchair through your airline, one may be available for checkout at the information booth on Level T at Terminal 1-Lindbergh. Or ask an airline representative for assistance when you arrive.
Once through security, Travelers Assistance volunteers are also available to assist with obtaining a wheelchair. Simply visit an information booth or call 612-726-5500.
Electric carts are available past security at Terminal 1-Lindbergh, on concourses C through G and in the Airport Mall to transport passengers with physical disabilities or limitations.
Two companies at MSP provide this service: Delta Air Lines contracts with Servisair, while all other airlines contract with Primeflight Aviation Services.
A "cart stop" system has been implemented to provide the most efficient electric cart service to the traveling public. Cart stops are clearly marked with signs above blue chairs imprinted with a wheelchair icon. Electric carts pick up passengers every 10 to 15 minutes. You will find cart stops directly inside security and at every gate along Concourses C, D, E, F and G. Consult your airline for services elsewhere.
Servisair carts have signs on them indicating which concourses they serve. Carts operated by Primeflight Aviation Services do not display signs because these carts are not assigned to a specific concourse. Please be sure to ask your cart driver if he or she is headed your way before getting onto a cart.
Electric cart service is not available at Terminal 2-Humphrey.
Most restrooms at MSP have at least one accessible extra-wide stall equipped with side grab bars.
Companion Care Restrooms
Companion care restrooms at the Terminal 1-Lindbergh can be found between Checkpoints 1 and 2; in baggage claim near Door 2; near Gates A3, A6, A9, B3, B7, B11, C3, C12, C16, C18, C21, C25 & F10; and on the Tram Level near the escalators to the hotel shuttles.
There are four companion care restrooms at Terminal 2-Humphrey. On Level 1, restrooms are located across from the Airport Police Office, between Doors 3 and 4, and below Checkpoint 1, near the elevators. On Level 2, companion care restrooms are located inside security across from gates H4 and H6.
