All full-time and part-time employees receive 11 paid holidays per year, plus one floating holiday. |
| Long-term Disability (LTD) |
MAC provides long-term disability insurance. The LTD policy is available to employees at no cost to the employee. The LTD policy has a ninety-day waiting period and pays 60% of the employee's salary while they are disabled. LTD coverage is effective 30 days after the employee's date of hire. |
| Short-term Disablity (STD) |
To safeguard your income in the event you experience a prolonged sickness or injury, you have the option to purchase STD coverage. The STD policy covers loss of wages at 60% of your monthly salary up to $3,000 per month for covered disabilities. Elimination periods depend on the coverage plan you select. |
| Sick Leave |
Full-time employees accrue 11 days of paid sick leave per year with an option to bank up to 70 days. Part-time employees accrue sick leave at a pro-rated rate. This rate is based on the number of hours worked each month. |
| Vacation |
MAC full-time employees initially accrue 15 days of vacation time each year. The accrual rate increases with years of service. MAC part-time employees accrual rate is pro-rated according to the number of hours worked per month. All employees begin accruing vacation upon their date of hire, however, new employees may not use the accrued time until they have successfully completed the required probationary period. Employees may rollover up to 160 hours of unused vacation time into the next calendar year. |
