MSP Value Parking Debuts

The new 4,575-space Orange Parking Ramp is now officially open at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP), creating a new “MSP Value Parking” option for travelers.

The new MSP Value Parking moniker highlights the fact that general parking costs $4.00 less per day at the new facility near the Humphrey Terminal than at nearby Lindbergh Terminal facilities.

The new Orange Ramp connects directly to the Humphrey light rail station, making it quick and easy to park in the new MSP Value Parking facility and ride light rail free to the Lindbergh Terminal. Unlike the former EconoLot, an asphalt surface parking option eliminated when the current Humphrey Terminal was constructed in 2001, MSP Value Parking is an eight-level, two-ramp facility with 9,500 parking spaces.

Travelers can park at the new facility for as little as $14 a day using MSP's ePark automated payment system. The new ramp's location directly adjacent to light rail eliminates the long walk for people who park at the Humphrey facility and ride light rail to the Lindbergh Terminal for their flight. Light rail service is available between terminals 24-hours a day, seven days a week.

MSP now has six public parking ramps and a total of 22,900 public parking spaces.
