The State of Hockey is a big draw

Bloomington, a Minneapolis suburb adjacent to MSP Airport, recently secured the World's OneHockey Signature Invitational Tournament, taking place this October and in January, 2022.

Hockey is a long-standing piece of Minnesota culture, and the OneHockey tournament draws a large crowd.

OneHockey is expected to bring in 48 teams and over 4,000 fans for each event.

“Bloomington is a popular destination for sporting events and being selected as the host destination for the OneHockey Worlds is a tremendous honor,” said Todd Lehrke, Director of Sports Development for the Bloomington Convention and Visitors Bureau.

International Teams are coming from Latvia, the Czech Republic, Russia, Japan and South Korea. Top U.S teams attending include Chicago Mission, Pittsburgh Vengeance, Madison Capitols, New Jersey Selects (statewide tryout team), Anaheim Jr. Ducks, Carolina Jr. Hurricanes, Detroit Little Caesars and Detroit Honeybaked, to name a few.
