please be aware we are searching for a flexible candidate who maybe can work at 8 AM or 10 AM hours might run 10 AM to 7 PM. Must be able to work weekend Saturday and Sunday. You must be available for weekends as well or very flexible you will be leading and keeping control of the retail store. We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional customer service and support to ensure a positive shopping experience. You will assist customers with their needs, manage transactions, and maintain the overall appearance of the store. Our number one candidate will be someone with a wonderful personality ability to come in and work with any type of customer that walks into our store. This is a very important lead position that we are searching to fill.
Duties
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers and assisting them with product inquiries.
- Operate cash registers, handle cash transactions, and manage cash handling procedures accurately.
- Stock shelves and maintain inventory levels to ensure products are readily available for customers.
- Conduct product demonstrations to engage customers and promote new items.
- Utilize retail math skills to assist in inventory management and sales reporting.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, ensuring a welcoming shopping environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and provide updates on inventory levels.
- Assist in training new staff members on store policies and procedures.
- Must be able to work evenings 4am start. we need a reliable person for this position. If you have years in the job market we would like to hear from you
- Good job stability with references as a must
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management.
- Familiarity with grocery store operations is a plus.
- Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
