Think 5-4-3-2-1 For Your Departure

Additionally, the Skyway Security Checkpoint on the Skyway Concourse Connector will be open for extended hours on Monday, Feb. 5 from 3 a.m. to 8 p.m. Carry-on baggage only.
Checkpoint #7 on Concourse G is available for international connecting travelers only.
At Terminal 2-Humphrey, two security checkpoints are located on Level 2. At least one of the two checkpoints will be open between 3:30 a.m. and 10 p.m. daily. Both checkpoints are closed between 10 p.m. and 3:30 a.m.
Super Bowl Game Programs
Super Bowl game programs can set off luggage screening sensors. We recommend you carry it with you and do not place it in your checked luggage. At the security checkpoint, place the program in a bin by itself.
Between Terminals: Light Rail Transit runs between Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 around the clock, seven days a week, approximately every 10 minutes during peak times and 15 minutes at other times of day. Service between terminals is free. The light rail transit page has more information about service at MSP.
Around the Twin Cities: There are several ways to make your way around the Twin Cities once you’ve arrived. Check out our ground transportation page for more information.
Light Rail Disruption Feb. 4: Light Rail service – including service that runs between Terminal 1-Lindbergh and Terminal 2-Humphrey – will be suspended on Sunday, Feb. 4 from 4 a.m. until after the Super Bowl game. Bus bridges will run between MSP's terminals during the disruption. Drop off/pick up locations:
- Terminal 1 – Upper East Roadway (follow signs for City Buses)
- Terminal 2 – Light Rail Platform
