Passengers and MSP Airport employees enjoyed connecting with airport and community groups at the “Night to Unite” on Tuesday, Aug. 5, hosted by the Airport Police Department.
Held in the Terminal 1 Airport Mall, the midday event drew 350 attendees to learn more about the people and programs that keep MSP safe and welcoming. Departments of the Metropolitan Airports Commission (MAC), which operates MSP, attended the event including the Airport Fire Department and MAC Human Resources. Other groups included Airport Foundation MSP, Airport Watch, Allina Health EMTs and others, all supplied with swag for visitors. Caribou Coffee provided hot mocha throughout the day.

The annual event at MSP is inspired by National Night Out, which brings together residents and law enforcement across the country on the first Tuesday in August for an evening of building stronger, more connected neighborhoods.
Thanks to all who stopped by. Remember the airport event next year if you’re passing through MSP on that first Tuesday in August.
