MSP Airport recently wrapped up the spring break travel season, which featured a healthy volume of leisure travelers and smooth operations for departing and arriving passengers.

MSP remains grateful for the service of TSA agents, who continued to staff security checkpoints during a partial government shutdown that started on Feb. 14. MSP’s checkpoints didn’t experience lengthy delays during the spring break period.

MSP saw almost 1.3 million passengers screened at security checkpoints in the month of March, and 619,332 in the busiest two-week stretch -- Monday, March 16, to Sunday, March 29. Thousands of MSP travelers used Prebooked Parking to streamline their trip.

The busiest days of spring break were Thursday, March 26, and Friday, March 27, which each saw more than 50,000 security screenings.

Spring break passengers enjoyed performances provided by Arts@MSP. Visit the schedule of upcoming entertainment events as you plan your next trip.
