Public safety is one of the most important aspects of managing the airport. Airport Police and the Airport Fire Department have dedicated resources focused on public safety 24 hours a day. Both departments are housed on site.
MSP Airport Shield, an initiative from the Airport Police Department, lets employees, travelers, and community members confidentially report suspicious activity online to help enhance airport safety.
