When dropping someone off at MSP Airport’s Terminal 1 or picking up, remember that you can use the Upper East Roadway for both purposes, following the “Delta curbside” digital signs at the top of the ramp to the upper-level roadway in front of Terminal 1. You'll take the first left as you come up the ramp.

If the overhead digital sign says it’s “closed,” that refers to the Delta bag-check counters on the east curbside. The Upper East Roadway itself is still open for drop-offs and pick-ups, and auto traffic is often light.

Drop off your passengers at door six or seven on the east curb, which brings them into airline customer service desks, and some Delta Air Lines self-serve kiosks. Passengers can then go up one level to access one of the skyways to Terminal 1’s main lobby and TSA checkpoints.

For wheelchair users, the west side roadway (Glumack Drive) closest to the main lobby is still the best option for drop-offs and pick-ups. Use Door 3 for wheelchair users flying Delta Air Lines, and Door 2 for all other airlines.

Giving someone a ride to Terminal 2? When dropping off or picking up, you can use the Express Lane on Level 2 of the Purple Ramp. That serves as an alternative to the roadway directly in front of the terminal. There’s also a convenient skyway that provides access to the terminal. Find all those details here.
