Frequently Asked Questions

Please contact us with any additional questions about the Airport Conference Center at MSP meeting and event venue.

Where are the meeting spaces located?

Central to the Twin Cities metro area, the Airport Conference Center at MSP is located in Terminal 1, inside the secure areas (above the entrance to Concourse F, Mezzanine Level). The Great Room at MSP space is located in Terminal 1, Concourse G.

How do meeting attendees obtain security passes?

Ticketed passengers (both attendees that are departing from or arriving to MSP Terminal 1) do not need a separate security pass. Non-ticketed attendees and those coming from MSP Terminal 2 or via charter or private plane will need a security pass to enter the Conference Center. To obtain security passes, contact us at least 48 hours prior to your meeting with the following information: Full name, date of birth and gender (all information must match driver’s license or government-issued I.D.). Failure to provide accurate attendee information in a timely manner may delay or prevent individuals from receiving a security pass and entering the Conference Center. On-site parking is available by using the airport parking facilities.

Can I schedule a meeting at the conference center even if I or my guests don't have a flight?

Absolutely! Our conference spaces are conveniently located making it a great option for meetings even if you’re not flying. It can be especially useful if you have meeting guests flying in. If you don’t have a boarding pass to go through security, you’ll need a concourse pass. To obtain a concourse pass, you must provide:

  • First and last name
  • Gender
  • Date of birth (as shown on your acceptable form of identification)

Review acceptable identification for TSA checkpoints.

What are the MSP Airport Conference Center hours?

The Conference Center at MSP is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday (weekend availability as requested in advance). A one-hour additional fee will be charged for any reservation or service that requires staff presence before 7 a.m. or after 5 p.m., weekdays or anytime on weekends/holidays.
