As America Recycles Day approaches on Sunday, Nov. 15, strategies abound at MSP for reducing and reusing a variety of materials.
There’s no need to wait until the big day to step up your recycling game at MSP. Passengers are already regularly involved in keeping things green during their travels, including these activities:
- • Bring an empty water bottle through security and then refill it at one of our water refill stations.
- • Paper towel composting is now available in airport bathrooms.
- • When you’re at the Airport Mall food court in Terminal 1, check out our containers to compost food waste. You can also use “Oscar AI” to help with your sorting questions
Keep your eyes out for recycling opportunities at MSP wherever you are in the terminals. We’re working hard to reduce waste and provide new ways for passengers to help move MSP toward our sustainability goals.
