The Airport Fire Department operates out of two fire stations on the MSP campus to ensure the staff can respond quickly to emergency events.
For emergencies, call 911 from any airport payphone, 228 from an Airport Assistance phone, or612-726-5577.
For non-emergencies, call 612-726-5005.
Along with providing 24-hour onsite service the fire department also oversees the Automatic External Defibrillators (AED) program at MSP. AED’s are located throughout both terminals for use by airport employees and the public incase of sudden cardiac arrest. The AED’s are typically located near Airport Assistance phones to enable someone to easily call for emergency assistance.
