Restaurant Maintenance Technician

Are you a skilled maintenance professional with a passion for keeping restaurant operations running smoothly? Aero Service Group is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Restaurant Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position will be servicing three different restaurant locations at the MSP Airport. The ideal candidate will perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems, including plumbing, electrical, and refrigeration equipment, while troubleshooting and repairing kitchen appliances and restaurant machinery to ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems, including plumbing, electrical, and refrigeration equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair refrigeration systems, ensuring optimal operation and compliance with safety standards.
• Maintain and repair kitchen appliances, cooking equipment, and other restaurant-specific machinery.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies to minimize downtime.
• Conduct safety checks and ensure all maintenance activities adhere to health and safety regulations.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.
• Collaborate with restaurant management to schedule maintenance activities with minimal disruption to operations.
• Assist with minor carpentry, painting, and general facility upkeep as needed.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in building maintenance, with a broad knowledge of electrical, refrigeration, plumbing, and general repair.
• Specific expertise in refrigeration systems is highly preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex maintenance issues efficiently.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.

Rate of Pay: $24 - $26/hour
