All parking rates include taxes and no fees will be added. The price you see is the price you pay.
What parking payment options are available at MSP?
All major credit/debit cards are accepted at drive-up pay stations. Alternatively, you can purchase parking online before you arrive. Prebooked parkers are guaranteed a place to park and stand to save on drive-up rates.
Cash/check is not accepted as a payment option at MSP's general parking facilities. Guests without credit/debit cards may use one of the cash-to-card machines available inside the Terminal. A total of (4) cash-to-card machines are centrally located at MSP:
- Terminal 1, Departures level, near Door #2
- Terminal 1, Departures Level, near Door #4 (across from the Delta counter)
- Terminal 1, Departures level, across from the United counter
- Terminal 2, Departures level, centrally located near the entrance
Valet Parking at Terminal 1 will continue to accept cash or card for payment.
Are there vehicle height restrictions?
Terminal 1 Ramps have a clearance of 7’.
Terminal 2 -- Value Parking has a clearance of 6’10”
Terminal 2 -- Hourly Parking has a clearance of 8'2"
The Quick Ride Ramp has a clearance of 9’10”

Are electric vehicle charging stations available at MSP?
Electric vehicle charging stations are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
At Terminal 1, charging stations are available on level 8 of the Blue, Red, and Silver Ramps. With 50 charging stations available, the Silver Ramp is your best option to find an open spot.
At Terminal 2, charging stations are available on level 7 of the Orange Ramp.
There is no charge for this service and no limit to your length of stay.
Do you have motorcycle parking?
Motorcycle parking is available at the Quick Ride Ramp.

Where does the Quick Ride Ramp shuttle pick up at each Terminal and what are the hours of operation?
A free 24/7 shuttle will pick you up at your vehicle in the Quick Ride Ramp and drive you to Terminal 1 or 2 and back upon your return. At Terminal 1, the shuttle picks up and drops off passengers in the Brown Ramp lobby near the Terminal 1 Ground Transport Center. At Terminal 2, the shuttle picks up and drops off passengers in the Terminal 2 Ground Transport Center on the ground level of the Purple Ramp. Look for overhead directional wayfinding signage to find the pick-up location.
Do I need to prebook parking online?
No, you are welcome to just drive in, take a ticket, and pay the applicable drive-up rates on exit. The advantage of prebooking online is that you guarantee a space and are often able to access better rates.
How do I prebook parking online?
Follow these steps to prebook your parking:
- Visit onlineparking.mspairport.com
- Select your travel dates and airline (to determine your departure terminal)
- Choose your preferred parking ramp and complete the transaction
- At the entrance, present the QR code from your confirmation email (either printed or on your mobile device)
- At the completion of your trip, the same QR code will allow you to exit the parking complex
How do I confirm that I have successfully booked my parking?
Once you have completed the online booking process, you will receive an email confirmation that will include your itinerary, reference number, and a QR code.
What if I don't receive a confirmation email?
Can I get a receipt for prebooked parking?
Your confirmation email will include the amount paid and will serve as your receipt.
I have lost my confirmation email. Can I get another receipt?
Is there an additional fee to prebook my parking online?
Not only are there no additional fees associated with an online booking, but you are guaranteed the best parking rates. Discounted rates are available online only.
How close to my travel dates can I book parking online?
Bookings must be made at least 12 hours prior to your scheduled arrival time.
How far in advance can I book my parking online?
You may book parking up to 6 months in advance of your planned arrival date/time at the airport.
What is the minimum length of stay?
The minimum duration to book online is 24 hours.
Both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 have hourly parking options.
What is the maximum length of stay?
The maximum booking duration is 45 days. Vehicles left unclaimed after 45 days may be removed at the owner’s expense.
When I prebook, what do I need when I arrive at the parking ramp?
All you need is the QR code included in your confirmation email. This code can be accessed via your mobile device or as a printed copy.
I prebooked my parking. Where do I go?
While your QR code is only valid at the parking facility you selected (and included in your confirmation email), all parking entrance lanes have a QR code reader and will grant you access to the ramp. If you selected Terminal 1, you can enter and park at any of the Terminal 1 ramps (Green, Gold, Red, Blue, or Silver). If you selected Terminal 2, you can enter and park at either of the Terminal 2 ramps (Orange or Purple).
Can I amend my online booking?
What if I need to cancel?
Cancellations made at least 12 hours before your scheduled arrival time will receive a full refund. Cancellations without 12 hours notice are approved on a case-by-case basis. Contact ABM Parking Management at 612-725-4681 or parking@mspmac.org.
Is there a fee to change or cancel my itinerary?
There are no fees, but we do ask that you make any cancellations or modifications 24 hours before you are scheduled to arrive at the parking facility.
What happens if my trip is extended?
You can modify your parking itinerary up to 12 hours prior to your scheduled arrival time. Visit onlineparking.mspairport.com/booking/search to manage your booking. If your stay is longer than expected, you will be charged the applicable parking rate at the exit and be prompted to insert your credit/debit card.
What if I arrive earlier, or return later than expected?
We provide a grace period on both entrance and exit. If your stay exceeds your parking itinerary beyond the grace period, you will incur parking charges based on posted parking rates. Excess parking fees will payable at the exit via credit/debit card.
If my trip is shorter than expected, do I receive a refund?
Refunds are not provided for shorter stays.
What happens if after entering the parking facility I need to leave and re-enter the parking lot again?
Once your QR code is used at the exit, your itinerary is considered complete. If you choose to re-enter the parking facility it will be considered a new drive-up transaction, and standard parking rates will apply.
What if I arrive and the signs say that parking is full?
By booking your parking online, you are guaranteed access to the ramp specified in your email confirmation. The closed signs apply only to customers who have not already booked their parking. Your QR code will give you access to the ramp and the signage will direct you to available spaces.
Do I need to park in a specific area, or space?
By booking your parking online, you are guaranteed access to the ramp specified in your email confirmation. Your reservation is not tied to a specific spot or level.
When I book online will I be charged right away or when I exit the parking lot?
Your credit/debit card will be charged when your booking is confirmed.
Can I book accessible parking online?
Accessible parking is available for holders of valid permits or license plates in all of our parking facilities. Customers accessibility needs can book parking in advance, but a specific accessible parking space cannot be reserved in advance.
What if I prebook parking and my flight is delayed or cancelled?
You can modify or cancel your prebooked itinerary up to 12 hours prior to your scheduled arrival time. Visit onlineparking.mspairport.com/booking/search to manage your booking.

What is the Express Lane at Terminal 2?
Located on Level 2 of the Purple Ramp, the Express Drop-off / Pick-up area is a free and easy option for vehicles picking up or dropping off travelers at Terminal 2. To enter, simply follow signage into the parking ramp where you will stay in the right lane to access the Express Drop-off / Pick-up area. Vehicles entering the Express Lane will have easy access to enter the Hourly Parking area should you need to wait or leave your vehicle. The Express Drop-off / Pick-up is conveniently located next to the skyway for quick, climate-controlled access to and from the terminal.
